Cantilever Racking

Cantilever racking is made up of upright columns with arms that protrude out, held together with bracing for strength. The design means there are no vertical uprights in the way, so you can store long items safely across the arms. We typically see arms from 700mm up to 1.5m long, with load ratings from 400kg to 1 tonne per arm. Heights go from 2.4m to 6m, and spacing between arms is usually 1–1.2m.

This style of racking is ideal for timber yards, steel works, plumbing suppliers, extrusion factories, anywhere storing long, awkward products like beams, pipes, lengths of timber or metal. It can be placed inside or outside, along a wall, or in a central run. It’s a straightforward, strong system that makes handling long products much easier.
