Carpet Racking
Carpet racking is a variation of pallet racking built to handle rolls of carpet, vinyl, or artificial grass. It uses longer beams and deeper bays so the rolls can be loaded end-on with a carpet spike attachment on a forklift. Typical dimensions are 2.6–3.6m wide, up to 4m deep, and 2.4–6m high. Each level usually supports around 2 tonnes.
While most common in carpet and flooring warehouses, we’ve also seen it adapted in industries like artificial grass supply and even bulky furniture storage (lounges, tables, etc). If you’re storing long rolls, carpet racking is the safe, efficient way to do it.
