Live Carton Racking
Live carton racking is a roller-based system for picking set on an angle so goods loaded at the back roll forward to the front. It’s a first-in, first-out system, perfect for keeping rotation on stock that has a use-by or expiry date.
You’ll typically find this in picking and packing environments like food distribution, coffee roasting, or manufacturing lines where boxes are constantly being filled and moved. It’s usually installed closer to the front of the warehouse where the dispatch and packing happens.
Most systems are around 2.6 metres wide and 2.4 metres deep, with rollers spaced roughly 600mm apart. Each level can handle somewhere between 250 and 500 kilos depending on setup.
