Pigeon Hole Racking

Pigeon hole racking is basically pallet racking or longspan shelving with dividers added into each level. This breaks the bay into separate pigeon holes, so long products like pipes, timber, extrusions, or flooring trims can be stored neatly by size or type.

Each bay is usually 2.7–2.8m high and about 2.6m wide, with custom divisions built to suit what you’re storing. A divided section will generally carry around 100kg, with the whole level holding up to 500kg. It’s a very simple, effective way to keep stock organised, make picking faster, and reduce damage. We see it used across timber yards, floor tilers, plastic extrusions, and manufacturing businesses through to just about anyone who has long items that need to be segregated in an easy, simple fashion.
